Over the winter, Sea Services will replace 415 meters of harbor bridges in Kignæs Harbor. The old bridges were worn out and damaged by marine borers, so they need to be replaced. The new bridges will be constructed using azobe and Siberian larch.
In total:
- 45 tons of azobe wood
- 20 tons of Siberian larch wood
- 4.8 kilometers of decking planks in Siberian larch
- 16,000 ship nails for fastening the decking
